SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGS)
The DCF offers Special Interest Group (or SIG) sessions before our featured monthly program.
Our SIG structure is designed as a progression to support members in building skills and business acumen and move to more advanced coaching topics as their experience deepens.
Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings
Exploring Coaching as a Profession SIG
The Exploring Coaching SIG offers a Q & A forum for individuals interested in exploring coaching as a profession. Bring your burning questions to gather with others considering coaching as a career and a seasoned professional coach (Ann Strong, Judy Sabah or Bill Grout) to get your questions answered.
Our discussion may include, and is not limited to:
• understanding how coaching differs from related professions
• learning what makes an exceptional coach
• determining if self-employment suits you
• choosing your niche and specialty
• investigating training programs, certification and mentor coaches
• getting started . . .
